All our tandem parachutes are equipped with automatic activation devices (AADs) that will activate the reserve parachute in case of emergency.

Mission Beach Reef Cruise & Dive

Visit 2 different Reef locations in one day on board with "Reef Goddess"- designed with your safety and comfort in mind offering spacious deck areas, hot showers, toilets, sun deck and a very well designed rear deck for entering and exiting the water. Diving & Snorkeling is available all fully guided. Reef locations are chosen on the day to maximise your Great Barrier Reef experience.

Tully River White Water Rafting: 

This Tully River rafting trip provides an action-packed full day of adventure in North Queensland, including five hours of white-water rafting with experienced river guides and a barbecue lunch. Paddle your raft through 45 or so rapids — some up to Grade 4 — with the World Heritage–listed rainforest as your scenic backdrop. Tully Gorge National Park boasts one of Australia's most popular rafting excursions, including opportunities to jump from the rocks into the tropical water. Includes hotel pickup and drop-off from Cairns, Northern Beaches and Mission Beach.

If you would like to find your own way to our Mission Beach drop zone, we are located just under 2 hours drive south from Cairns and 2.5 hours north of Townsville. It's a fairly relaxed drive, with luscious cane fields as far as the eye can see.

The Itinerary


Get a good night's sleep before your big jump, the epic adrenalin rush can be exhausting. You must not have consumed any drugs or alcohol in the eight hours preceding your skydive, and you cannot scuba dive 24 hours before skydiving. Check in at reception upon arrival. Skydiving is a weather dependent activity, so arrive with no time constraints.Keep your mobile on - we'll call you on the day if conditions are unfavourable,  otherwise assume your jump is going ahead.


Reef Cruise:

8.30 - 9:00 AM - You will begin your adventure to the Great Barrier Reef from our beachfront office at Wongaling Beach where you will board Island Spirit from the beach. Wear your swimmers as you have to walk through water to your knees to board. Just a quick 10 minute transfer will land you onto beautiful Dunk Island where you will board 'MV Reef Goddess'.  'Island Spirit' is a fully enclosed custom built passenger transfer vessel designed specifically for beach landing.


9.30 AM - After introductions and safety briefing from your captain, we depart Brammo Bay at Dunk Island and head off to the East sitting on 18 knots reaching our first reef location in under 1 1/2 hours. 


11:00 AM- In the water at our first Outer Great Barrier Reef location (locations are determined on the day to suit weather conditions).  You will have an hour exploring our untouched reefs with our crew on hand to assist with your gear and getting going. Our free snorkel briefing will cover what to do and what not to do to ensure your safety and enjoyment at the reef. 


12:00 PM - Depart for a 1/2 hour cruise to our second snorkel location and lunch preparation.


12.30 PM - Arrive at our second location where the ship's captain will cook your BBQ lunch served alongside fresh prawns, salads and fresh tropical fruit.  After your well earned lunch, onto the second of our snorkel and dive explorations. Another hour of learning, seeing and experiencing one of the world's natural wonders.


3:00 PM - After more snorkelling or diving your crew will 'up anchor' and head for home back to Dunk Island.


4.30 PM - Transfers onboard 'Island Spirit' for a quick trip to mainland Mission Beach


White Water Rafting Tully River: 

Located approx. 87 miles (140 km) south of Cairns, Tully Gorge National Park is a premiere destination while visiting North Queensland. With tropical water temperatures year-round, Tully River white-water rafting provides the ultimate day trip. 


Enjoy a convenient hotel pickup, including Northern Beaches and Mission Beach, or make your way to the designated starting point from Tully. 


Relax during the scenic drive to Tully, traveling through cloud-covered coastal mountains and past clear streams and sugarcane fields. 


After a safety briefing and some paddling instruction from your river guide, you're provided with a life jacket, spray jacket and helmet in preparation for a white-knuckle adventure, including up to 5 hours of rafting over more than 45 rapids. 


Your guide helps to maneuver the raft over the rapids, which include some up to Grade 4. 


Ride the unforgettable Alarm Clock, Wet and Moist, Stair Case and the dramatic Theatre — all before a riverside barbecue lunch opposite Ponytail Falls. 


Have free time here to recharge your batteries and take in the breathtaking scenery of the World Heritage–listed rainforest before negotiating the afternoon's remaining rapids. 


Afterward, change into dry clothes and end your full-day tour with a hotel drop-off.

The Fine Print


  • Free Wi-Fi

  • Wear loose, casual clothing and sneakers as footwear. 

  • We provide customised jump pants to wear over your clothes, and in winter we provide fleeces and gloves.

  • You must be 12 years of age or older to skydive

  • There is no maximum age limit, however reasonable fitness is required.

  • If you are over 110kg, you will be subject to tandem master assessment.

  • Surcharges apply to participants 95kg and over.


Reef Cruise:

  • Please bring hats, sunscreen, towels, swimmers, dry change of clothes, jumper/jacket on cooler days & cash for onboard sales. 

  • Please note: certain medical conditions will preclude you from scuba diving in Queensland. This includes, but is not limited to, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, heart problems, lung problems, ear problems, high or low blood pressure, current cough, cold or flu, chronic sinus conditions, fainting or seizures, plus the use of prescription medication including those used for the treatment of anxiety and depression. 

  • Please contact us directly to discuss your suitability for diving. 

  • The minimum age for scuba diving in Queensland is 12 years


White Water Rafting Tully River: 

  • Children aged 13-18 years require a parent or guardian counter signature on waiver form 

  • Please bring lace-up shoes (that WILL get wet), 

  • swimsuit and towel (you will need to be wearing your swimsuit at the time of pick up)

  • spare change of clothes and sunscreen 

  • Minimum age is 13 years 

  • Not wheelchair accessible 

  • Not recommended for travelers with back problems 

  • Not recommended for pregnant travelers 

  • No heart problems or other serious medical conditions 

  • Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level 

  • PLEASE NOTE: the Tully River will be CLOSED from 5th - 16th August inclusive and 18th - 30th October inclusive due to power station maintenance in 2019.​​​​​​​
