A highly trained team of scientists, tour guides and abseiling specialists will be with you every step of the way to lead you safely through the canopy and into a treetop world, offering interpretation and insight into our World Heritage Listed rainforest environment from every platform. The flight choice is yours – slow, fast or upside down. Our “Go Jungle Surfing” day tour has most of the same inclusions as our “Go Wild” tour. However, instead of the rainforest boardwalk and time at Cape Tribulation beach, you will have the opportunity to experience Jungle Surfing.
Your Jungle Surfing Canopy tour will take place in the afternoon, where you will be flying through the trees, with breathtaking views and a great adrenaline rush, a truly unique experience. The rainforest zip lining is a fantastic 2 hour experience. This is the best birds eye view of the oldest rainforest in the world. Don’t forget to take your camera as you will take award winning images of the ancient rainforest and its animals.
The highest point of the Jungle Surfing tour is 22.5 metres above Mason’s Creek with the longest span length at 78 metres. Metres and metres of pure excitement gilding through the rainforest. Safely harnessed by your guide you can actually fly along the zip line whilst up-side down if you feel you really have the need!
There are 5 aerial platforms along the way in which your guide will educate the group on the World Heritage Listed rainforest surroundings that you are immersed in.
