Passions of Paradise Snorkel & Dive:

After a quick check-in at the Reef Fleet terminal, your adventure begins with tea, coffee, and muffins before setting off in a high-speed catamaran. Along the way, the staff will discuss the Great Barrier Reef and provide snorkeling techniques. Before arriving at the reef, your crew will organize your snorkeling and diving equipment for you, and offer a safety and dive briefing. Wet suits are available to hire at an additional charge. For snorkeling, access to and from the water is via snorkel platforms at the back of the vessel. The reef sites are selected for their abundance of marine life and diversity of healthy corals. Novice snorkelers are encouraged to join the staff on a guided snorkel excursion.

Introductory dives are available for newcomers to scuba. These are fully guided dives in small groups under the instruction of one of the experienced dive instructors. Certified divers have the opportunity to conduct two dives during the day. All dives are guided in small groups of no more than six, by experienced dive masters. Then, it's time for lunch, prepared by an on-board chef. Dig into a hot and cold buffet, which includes a selection of salads, fresh fruits, breads, and a choice of two hot dishes. Vegetarian options are available and any allergy can be catered to with notice.

Once lunch is served, you'll head off to the second exclusive destination. Snorkel tours will continue here and all divers have the opportunity to take a second dive. Then put the sails up and relax on the spacious sun decks as you set sail back to Cairns. Enjoy a cool beverage on deck or head into the air-conditioned saloon for a marine life presentation, where you can ask any questions about the marine life you saw on the Great Barrier Reef. After a full day of snorkeling, diving, and sailing, you'll be back in Cairns by 5:00pm.
